Exclamation Aftermarket rims/Tire pressure trick???

idk if it was something else i did, but i got my tire pressure light to come off. I put on some thin spacers and all of a sudden the light never came on again. I never put the sensors in my aftermarket rims either. IDK if i did something else, but i guess someone else should try it and see if it worked for them, lol.

Why didn't you put the sensors back in your wheels?

Drive it for an extended period, the warning will be back.

Spacers will distort the electromagnetic force field simulating an ultra high frequency signal. Hard to believe but true.

Spacers basically block the 'bubble' that simulates the frequency that is sent by the sensors to the car.

Default Interesting...

I had my Winnings put on and of course, the light came on because the sensors were not remounted. I drove like that and it would flick on (no big deal).

I went on vacation for about two weeks and have been driving for extended periods of time in the 6 weeks I have been back and nothing. I'm not sure what happened and not concerned either way but it's always nice when there is no warning light up after an addition.

Hmmm. Anyway...that's my two

lmao at this thread!

the tire sensor warns you to put new tires because it blocks the ultra violet ray and could cause a global warming in your z.

So if the tire runs lows & you run it flat it's ok, as long as you don't have that annoying light to bother you

I have a set of GT-Cs put on and driven it for about a week and still no TPMS light on the dash. I'm glad it's not on but I wonder why it isn't. Oh btw, mine is 05 base

^+1

Buy a tire pressure and check the tire pressure, manually. It's ok, no one will laugh.
