Tps Question
i know this might be a noob question, but hey, i have no shame.....ANYWAYS, my tps light is on and will not go away. i do have aftermarket wheels so i know when i usually drive for about 80 miles, itll turn on, but when i turn off car, itll go away (reset). for some reason NOW, the light will not go away, i even tried unplugging the battery.....no good! anyone have a resolution to this?? it would be much appreciated!
thanks

One of your valve sensors may be bad. Some places will not replace them with your new rims and you have that issue. I would take it to either the dealership or go purchase some and have them installed.

The TPS sensors are located inside each wheel (part of it is the valve stem). The TPS antenna in the PS A-pillar picks up the signal from each TPS and relays it. If there's no signal, it triggers the warning light. It'll keep doing this each time you start the car until you resolve the problem.

no, didnt bother too. i knew the light would come on every now and then if i didnt. from when i put the new wheels on until saturday......like i said, the light would come on, say if i did a long drive to vegas, but when i would turn car off, it would reset and light would turn off. now though it doesnt wanna do that anymore!!
