lol, i dont see what is wrong with the wheels at all, actually someone posted a pic of their car with the 3rd set of wheels and it looked great. you guys are just name brand whoring which is stupid, as far as better quality, unless you hit something serious those rims arent going to break.
So if your arguement against them is quality in terms of endurance go ahead and spend the few extra grand for dumb *** insurance, cause i try not to drive into holes.
to the OP: buy the wheels man, not everyone has the luxury of paying ridiculous money for volks. and I dont buy people used things, its never been for me.
PS: i love Volks and name brand rims too, but hey sometimes its better to pay 1k for wheels than 3k and only have a bunch of car obssessed dudes or thiefs notice the real diff. i guarentee you the dumb *** blonde girl your trying to bang isnt going to notice.

Altough neither one of those rims are my taste but if i had to pick i'd go for the first ones...but IMO i think you should save your money and go with something better.
I think a lot of people on this forum base their wheel choice soley on what other people like/dislike. YOU are the one that drives the car. Go for what you think suits you best. You're the one that is going to be looking at it everyday.
