Default 5mm Spacer for SF-Challenge

First, i will let you know what i have

19x9.5 with 18 offset with the 10mm Project Kic Spacers
19x10.5 with 22 Offset

Is it worth getting the 5mm spacer for the rear?

If so, i know Project Kic dont sell a 5mm spacer, anybody sell them with built in studs?

Thanks

I dont think 5mm is big enough to include build in studs. So front is +8? if so i would say go with a spacer in the back

5mm spacers will work with OEM studs but you will have very little thread holding. Buy some 45mm studs.

www.ichibausa.com for a great set of 5mm spacer that include the press in studs needed for the install. The will take about 35 minutes a side to install and are well worth the safety of the longer studs. I would order there fronts too, and get ride of all the extra bolts and hardware that can fail with the Kics junk.

Do i have to rip off my oem studs with the ichiba?

Or can they just stay and put those on with the longer studs?

Ichiba makes spacers with built-in studs and spacers that require stud replacement.

If you are asking if you have to cut down your stock 1s to install the spacers with built-in studs, it will depend on how the back of your wheel looks. (Does it have 10 holes or just 5?)

Old studs get pulled out and thrown in trash , new studs get pulled in. Its simple and safe. I would ditch the other you have and get a similer set.

The 10mm set you have is basically changing your 10mm steel hub to a 5 to 7mm aluminum hub. I doubt they can take much of a hit.

Swap your 10mm to the rear, and then run 15mm in the front. Seriously.
