How many have gone from 17 in. wheels to 19 in. wheels

Dude, it is not that big of deal to me, heh. There are many options that he could do. There are also many tire calculaters that will get his diameters close to stock.
From my understanding, he never mentioned getting 18s. I don't know where you got that from. Also, the speed sensors are on the back, I started a trend on it a few weeks ago. Should be able to get it in a search.
Not trying to be difficult, just accurate.

The ride difference is actually not noticable to me. But what is noticeable is when I hit a turn. Woha, what a great difference.

someone correct me if im wrong but i think when little rod siad that it feels great on turns he was reffering to the width of his new wheels
you know the sayin..wider is better

Actually, the speed sensors are on the rear wheels
Well, if you have larger rims and lower profile tires, you have less flex in a corner. When I drive, the car just feels more stable in a corner and just about anywhere. The wider tires and less sidewall flex give you more ultimate lateral G pulling ability.
As an engineer it just makes sense. The more flex you have, the better the car will ride. But in max cornering, you don't want to use your sidewalls to stick in corners, and this flex can hurt you. Now, in a dragrace and most autox, you need to be lighter to be better. But in some cases, the taller wheel can be an advantage.

I have 19's x 11 rear OZ Superleggera III. I also have 295x35x19 Michelin tires. I have no problems whatsoever with tires rubbing. I don't understand why people have to roll fenders with a 10.5" rear. Now, it makes me wonder if my rims are really 11' wide.

Hoping one of you maybe able to advise.
Went with Volke TE-37's 19x9.5 on the rear 19x8.5 front. Out at the track and deep in some high speed corners I'm definatley getting a rub on the rears.
Anyone got any bright idea's. How do I find out more about fender rolling?

Arvin,
What is your offset for your rear 11"? I'm running 10.5 with offset 22 and have to roll the heck out of the fender.
Andymr1,
You'll have to get your fender rolled. Called around and ask the shop around your area to see if any one of them has a fender rolling tool. It's very easy to crack the paint on the Z because there's a weld spot along the fender lip. Make sure they heat the paint real hot before they start rolling the fender.
Denic79,
Nice wheels!
You might have to roll the fenders if you go with 285 depends on your offset (what is your offset, BTW?) and brand of the tires. Some tires are wider than the others eventhough they're all same spec.
Here's mine.

Well, I finally did it. I just had the ADR X-Factors installed. They can be seen here:

I used to run one of the performance shop here in the Bay Area and got to learn how to roll the fender. It's pretty easy, takes about 30 mins to roll 2 rear fenders. If you want to get your fender rolled, make sure that the place have a fender rolling tools, not just a baseball bat or pipe. You also have to heat the fender with the heatgun to soften the paint so it doesn't crack.
The reason that I bought 10.5" with offset 22 and 295 tires is because I like the lip (almost 4") plus I like the fact that 295 is the widest tires you can put on a Z.
Check out the pictures below for now. I'll take some close up of the fender whan I get a chance.
