So I'm gonna be taking my Z on a 2000 mile road trip to Vancouver.... I have my set of Volk GT-S rims on and am wondering if I should put my stock wheels back on.... I'm wondering how long my Toyo T1R's will last in general...
Should a just leave them on?... Will they wear fast?..
just lookin for some opinions...
thx.

Up to you , they should last , but if you don't feel like you want the wear on tear on the tires swap up. Also i doubt the car will be garaged on the trip, that may be a factor.
It seems like the time to worry about tire-wear is before you buy them. That being said, a long road trip will probably put less wear on them then the same mileage just tooling around town. It's straight line driving versus lots of turns, stopping, etc.

If the Volks are 19's or 20's (whatever) with 35 or 30 series tires I would put the stockers back on unless you know the trip route has no crap roads, potholes etc., that might bend your wheels.
Oh wait Volks don't bend or break never mind.
