tpms question
I've a question concerning the TPMS:
My tpms came on, and I'm just wondering what level of pressure triggers it to go off.
My tire pressures as measured by a pressure tool are 29.x, 31.x, 31.x, and 30.x.
thanks!

i think regular is 35-38? I cant remember for stock tires. I always had it around 34 psi.
check tire pressure measurement on your driver side door panel.
There are specs how much psi you should have on front and rear tires..
I think 35 is normal though

Low tire pressure warning light (if so equipped)
The light comes on for about 1 second when the ignition switch is turned ON, and then it turns off. NISSAN’s low tire pressure warning system is a tire pressure monitoring system. It monitors tire pressure of all tires except the spare. When the tire pressure monitoring system warning light is lit, one or more of your tires is significantly under-inflated. You should stop and check your tires as soon as possible, and inflate them to the proper pressure as indicated on the vehicle’s tire information placard. Driving on a significantly
under-inflated tire causes the tire to overheat and can lead to tire malfunction. Under-inflation also reduces fuel efficiency and tire tread life, and may affect the vehicle’s handling and stopping ability. Each tire, including the spare, should be checked monthly when cold and set to the recommended inflation pressure as specified in the vehicle placard and Owner’s Manual. The recommended inflation pressure may also
be found on the Tire and Loading Information label.
If the vehicle is being driven with very low tire pressure (lower than 28 psi), the light will illuminate and the chime will sound for about 10seconds.
For additional information, see “Low tire pressure warning system” in the “5. Starting and driving” section and “Flat tire” in the “6. In case of emergency” section. You can check the tire pressure of all 4 tires on the trip computer
display. See “Trip computer” earlier in this sec

weird... Mine seems to work the opposite or something, does it turn on when there's too much pressure?
Mine sometimes turns on in the middle of the highway, starts blinking then turns solid. I don't hear a chime though. And then in the morning when I turn it on, it blinks for a while, then disappears.... O_o what's with this? happened like 4 times so far. And it doesn't come back on on the next few drives. Checked the pressure on the first 2 times then just stopped checking after that, pressure seems normal.
