Safe to stretch a 225/45R18 onto a 9.5" rim temporarily?

wasn't really replying to you. if you are using the stock bridgestones, they should be ok. 225 front 245 rear. the bridgestones are slightly wider than the 245/35/19 falkens im running which are slightly stretched, but for temp use you should be good.

I daily drove a 225 (dunlop direzza) on a 9.5 wheel for a long time... perfectly safe. Plan on doing the same when my new wheels arrive for the Z.
