Default Need some assistance with tire choosing...

Okay I'm rolling on sportmax's 006 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. Going to be dropping soon with hotchkis springs, just curious as too what would be the best tire size to put on there, currently running 245/40/18 in the fronts and 275/40/18 (monster truck tires ) with stock suspension. Let me know what you guys think thanks.

You have the proper size tires for your wheels. If you had wide wheels your could drop to 35 series tires but you can't support a 275/35 front and 296/35 rear with yours.

Can yes, ideal for the street NO. 265/35 isn't even tall enough to be a street front tire.

Track on the other hand where you don't care about the car looking dumb with tires that don't fill the wheel well arches, go for it.
