Default need new rims, should i go black or chrome?

i have a 07 solar orange z. i bent 2 of my rims hittin a curb pretty hard and the oem ones r like 600 each. cheaper to go aftermarket. im debating if i should get 18" black rims with a polished lip or all chrome. which would look better?

black rims i was thinking about:

I gonna try and help you out here. DO NOT buy either set of wheels! Look in the private classifieds and find a good price on a quality set of wheels. If you're on a budget, look for something like Enkei rpf1s or even Rotas. But please, whatever you do, do not buy those wheels.

Use our vendors for quality wheels. And please don't go chrome, rather SBC!

No, there are expensive chrome wheels as well but chrome belongs over 20" and on an SUV....and spinning even after you stop the truck.

It's just the wrong "touch" on a Z IMO.

GROSS..

I would recommend you please follow these steps:

1. Log out from Ebay (most of the wheels on the site are terrible quality or horrendous offsets.

2. Check this forums marketplace and your regional marketplace threads

3. If you can't find anything, buy OEM rims from a member (I've seen them go as low as $400 with tires for all 4)

Good luck.

only reason y i suggested those is i dont have much money to spend and there cheap. probably cheap for a reason. puttin too much money into my bike to worry about puttin money into the car. i also found replica rims which are about 300 or less each and i need 2 of them. could go stock but figured aftermarket would be cheaper. any other suggestions. want to spend under 600 shipped for a set. include pics if u could.

i know there are crome wheels that cost way more but what i was meant to say is that the wheels that he is looking at are imo of poor quality. ebay wheels that no one has heard of = fail, specially chrome.

Honestly if you don't have the money to blow on nice wheels right now, I would just buy a set of 4 OEM wheels from a member here for around 400 with tires or maybe you can even only buy 2. Way better than buying those chrome wheels with horrible offsets that will probably crack in 2 months. just imo..
