Default Pressure Sensors on new rims

So I'm considering new rims, but I really like the pressure sensor features of my stock wheels.

Can the sensor be transfered to new wheels?

Anyone...anyone?

Thanks

Depends on the wheel. If the sensors do not fit the new wheels there is a work around. Do a search. A forum member can up with a solution involving stainless steel strapping.

The only wheels the stock sensors will bolt right up into are the Nismo's. Otherwise you have to strap them inside the new wheel.

teh215 is right. Do the search. I made a hard copy of the thread just last week since I'm looking at several types of wheels.

No dude, how can it report a low pressure when it can't read the pressure at all. Hopefully AI in vehicles isn't so advanced already that it has the power of assumption!

I currently dont have the sensors. The trip computer display just shows dashes, as you would expect, and the main idiot light in the dash comes on after about 45 minutes of driving only, never on short trips. It goes out when you restart the car.
