Default 18" or 19" rims?

Hey all, I've been thinking about getting new rims for my car and i can't really decide if i want 18" or 19". Could anyone who has made this decision please post pictures and possibly the benefits or detriments going either way? THanks

these are generalizations of course:
Performance = 18's
Looks = 19's

both can have wide widths (9.5, 10.5)

Don't forget expense:
18" $$$
19" $$$$$$

this includes both wheel and tire cost.

I've had two sets of 19's and two sets of 18's. Just like dhwang said 18's feel far much lighter and less restricted. The 19's had serious grip, but the thinner tire sucked! I roll on 18's now and will probably stay that way for a while.

You won't really feel a difference (other than the mental placebo effect).

Just stick with a wheel that weighs less.

I felt a huge difference when throwing my 17" stockers back on. Both my 19's and my 17's weighed about the same but the 17's had less rotational mass (is that the correct term?). Acceleration felt greatly increased.

Some guys track w/ 19's (Jetpilot) being one of them. If money is no worry go w/ 19's. If you do however want better choices (multiple sizes to choose from) in perf. tires then stick w/ 18's. I'm a fan of both, myself, but it all comes down to preference. Get whatever you can afford and whatever will make you happiest.
