Default Are all wheel offsets the same?

What I mean is:

Would Volk GTS wheels with the +17/+18 offset front and rear look the same as Volk SF Challenges with the same offset (although I know Challenges don't come in this offset)?

If I had both wheels described above on my car and took a side profile shot would they look the same way as far as how flush they would look?

I am considering purchasing some volks on this forum with a +15 offset and its been very hard to find pictures of them but there are quite a few picture of Volk Gt-S with the +17 offset...so if my above question proves to be true then I can get a good idea of how the Volks with the +15 offset would look on my car.

Thanks!

Yes, offsets are the same and mean the same thing. What's heavier, a ton of feathers, or a ton of bricks?

+17 = +17

+18 = +18

I don't think you will not be able to tell +15 and +17 apart on a car. 2mm is not a big deal.

Actually the wheels I'm looking at typically have these offsets:

9.5 +28
10.5 +23

whereas the ones I'm considering are:

9.5 +15
10.5 +23

I'm worried about the front wheels looking a bit odd if they stuck out too much...any thoughts?

A 18 x 9.0 wheel with a +20 mm offset, for example, will fit the same as another 18 x 9.0 wheel with a +20 mm offset.

Will it look the same to you? Don't know.

Its possible to put together a combination that tracks wider in front than the rear. Possible but not probable.

Offsets are not all necessarily the same when it comes to some multipiece ones, as the face type, or pad type, can vary. This impacts brake clearance, but does not impact where the wheel sits in relation to the fender. This can im on the outside, of the suspension on the inside. It can also potentially impact the look of the wheel from the spokes, to the amount of lip, but it varies from the specific wheel to wheel.

Adam beat me to it. All wheels have their nuances.

Concavity, Face, Clearance for brakes all varies significantly
wheel to wheel. Some advan wheels have up to (3) different
disk positions within a single offset grouping - i.e. (3) unique
19"x10" +18mm os disks 1,2 and 3...

Guys, thanks again for the many replies.

The wheels im considering purchasing are these:

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...els-tires.html

There are pictures in the thread but obviously I'm worried it will look a tad different in person.

What I am mainly worried about is the front wheels sitting too flush when you compare it to the rear wheels. I still want a staggered look and I'm worried these wheels (due to the low offsets in the front) will look the same as far as how far they stick out thus eliminating a staggered look...
