wtf? chris quit???
Chris was on vacation out of the country for a month +/-. soon after that, after sending him an e-mail, he had told me he no longer works for them. I think he still pokes around there at times. pat will sometimes tell me he's there when I call.

Damn! This situation sucks big time...

OP: Considering F1's current situation I would grab the wheelset while I can, I know it is not ideal but it would really suck if you end up without money and without wheels...

Good Luck!

Chris called me last night. He told me I WILL be getting my wheels & not to worry. He was promising me left & right that he'll take care of the issue. He said he would call me on tuesday. I sure hope he pulls thru for me

not agree more. When I ordered my Volks Oct 2007 (delivered Dec 2007/Jan 2008) he made me feel like he personally knew me the entire time. 100% best service I have had related to my Z to date. This based on a few phone calls and 4000 miles in-between us.

Catch 22...

They are hurting for cash so you have to get etuff with them to get their attention, but then that in turn hurts their rep so people stop buying wheels from them further hurting their cash flow and possibly ensuring you don't get any money.

Good luck, but thanks for being a martyr if it doesn't work out!

oh God, i hate to see this happend. Reminded me when i was waiting for my valve stem for over a month from a wheel distributor, and I was willing to pay them overnight shipping.

In the end, I have to call SSR Japan, and then they help/direct me to a guy in Hawaii to solve the problem. (only took them 3 days).

good luck with you, and I hope you got your wheel or money soon.

Are you sure your cc only allows claims up to 60 days, and not 90 days? It's worth double-checking.

Also file a complaint with the Attorney General's office in F1's home state.

Shitty situation, and I feel for you man...

F1 Motorsports are no longer sponsors here.
I am sorry to hear about your situation.

I encourage you to try your best to resolve the issue with them directly, and if that is unsuccessful, speak to your local BBB.
