Default nail in rear tire

i have a nail in the rear tire but so far no air is comeing out of the tire, can you put patch or a plug on the tires or do you have to buy new tires... the nail has been in there for about 3 days now.

a plug is a good short solution, but you should get it patched up and youll be fine.... new tires are not necessary

All 4? "Cause you know you want them all to be exactly identical in terms of tread wear or your VDC won't work correctly, right?

Just get it patched. Cheap and quick to do.

if it hits the sidewall or close to it you cannot get it patched. you really thought that was the best angle for the picture?

It all depends..Either take it to the dealer your car is most likely under warranty (I"m guessing since it's an 08) or to Discount tire, they'll be able to tell you off the spot if it's fixable or not. If your car is still under warranty and under 1 year I believe you have tire hazard warranty. At least my moms toyota did.

Good thing stock-sized tires are cheap.

Stock size tires run cheap, but the stock tire brands don't. Unless you like mix-matching brands and treads.
