Question Opinions on these wheels

Hi everyone,

I have been around for a while and I have decided that my coupe needs a new set of wheels.

What I want to know is what do you guys think of these wheels for the Z? I really want some honest opions so I hope that you guys can help.

They are Dronell D09's.

I know that they would look good on a sedan but I am not sure on the Z. Perhaps if someone gets some time they could photoshop them on a Z for me. If I were to go with these I think that I would get a black interior with a chrome lip.

Thanks,

Zdster

I dislike them.

If you are trying to go for the BLING BLING look, there are better alternatives out there.

Thanks for your response Mike/Vic.

Its not the bling bling look that I am necessarily going for. (I hope that I understand the term bling bling because it is not a common term in Australia, or in my group of friends anyway)

Hence I would go with the look interior and chrome lip. What I am more concerned with, is if because the wheels are so closed in, would they look good on the Z?

They look like imitation Brabus. Go with something else.

Hmm, not to my liking. Looks too plain or dated IMHO.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

I think that my judgment was a little clouded. It is just that these are expensive rims (or I consider that they are expensive) and I was able to get them at a really good price. EG new these rims cost roughly $6000 Aus ($3300 American) without tyres and I was going to get a set with a set of Continentals for about half price $3500 Aus ($1900 American).
(I hope that my currency exchange is correct - sorry if it isnt)

I have chosen rims before for my s15 and it was a much easier decision for me. I just think that the Z is harder to chose for.

Thanks again,

Zdster

Perhaps if the gaps were bigger they might be okay... but alas, no.

No, sorry.
Like Vic said, look for other big flashy chrome rims (bling). Maybe this is more what you are looking for? A more "spokey" wheel would be better IMHO - the center panel is just too big.

Thanks again guys. I appreciate your input.

I think that I have decided that I am not going to get this rims. I dont think that they will look right for the Z.

LOL, so much love for those rims. Dude, I hate them too, heh.
That is cool I really just wanted your input anyway as I wasnt sure if they would look good.

Like Vic said, look for other big flashy chrome rims (bling).
Iris, I am not really into the big chrome look to begin with and that is why if I was going to get these rims they would mostly be black with just a chrome lip. The rims that I had on my s15 were not chrome, but you might say that they were flashy (by the way if anyone is interested I am sure that I can find some photos of the car with rims, just say so and I will try to put them up)

Arent those for Benz? I donno, kinda looks like it.
The question can be answered with a yes and a no. They are for Mercs and Beamers but they are also for some Japanese manufacturers.

Thanks again,

Zdster
