i went the total opposite of that. I went from heavy 19" Volk GT-C's to amazing and light 18" RPF1's .The fit and the aggressive look is what made me want the RPFs. Not to say though that i wouldnt trade the RPFs for some styles of Volks

we should all trade our Z's in for 1991-93 geo metro hatchbacks in that teal blue/green they came in. seeing that the Z "isnt an expensive car", none of us should complain about cruising in a geo for a year or so..

I dont think that people cant afford 3k rims, I think they dont see the point in spending so much on rims.

Here are my old 19" PIAA Super Rozza's. I think wheels and tires cost me $2500 brand new. One of my favorite wheels for the Z. Could use lower offsets, but they fit pretty well anyway. I guess $2500 for the setup falls somewhere between expensive and inexpensive, or it's such a relative term that it's irrelevant anyway.

If you buy cheap wheels that look better than stock, then I don't see anything wrong with that. It's if you buy cheap wheels that look like they were made for a Civic and have horrible offsets, that's when they look bad.
