Default Finally Wheels...

Almost 2 years after I got the car, I finally put wheels on it.

Rota P45 staggered, 18x8.5 +25, 18x9.5 +30. I picked them up off a member here, Benwaballs. Great guy! Now, I am in search of springs.

The reflection off of your paint looks awesome. Is the photo modified to make it look like that, or you are just that good of a detailer?

I have a set of P45R's also. I don't post pics, because typically if they aren't Volk or somthing else 3 grand and up, you get mostly negative comments. I like how your car looks, but personally I would do without the time attack stripes. If the door handles were painted black, the side of that car would almost dissapear into the night. I approve.

In his tire sizes, 35 profile throws off your rolling diameter. It will make your odomoeter turn more miles, and make your speedo read slightly higher than you are really going (I think it's around +5-1/2 mph at 60). I run the 255/275 40 aspect ratio as street tires on my touring. The OD is almost a perfect match to stock OD. I do have 35 aspect ratio on the extra wheels/track wheels though. I don't see a problem with the 40 aspect ratio on the street. It's nice to have a little bit of tire on your rims too, incase you can't dodge that pothole - you have a little better chance of getting away without damage when theres more rubber.

Thanks for the compliments, for those who gave them. As far as the tire size, these were practically new and came with the wheels. I'm not baller status so I'm not going to throw away perfectly good tires in favor of something else. Also, one mod at a time. I'll get the springs when I feel I'm ready unless some baller would like to sponsor me, at which point I'll mod my car to their whims and desires. Currently I'm considering Hotchkis springs, but I tend to take a long time before coming to a decision on any mod. Hours upon hours of searching the forums, weighing pros and cons before deciding what's best for me.

Mike, there was some post processing done to the picture, but for the most part I keep the finish of the car well maintained.

This is the most annoying comment the low-riding fanboyz make. A 40 series tire on an 18" wheel is absolutely practical, correct for VDC, tach, and speedo, and comfort for street driving. Remember - the car comes with 40 or 45 series tire stock. I wonder why Nissan did that?

245 * .45 = 110.25mm sidewall
275 * .40 = 110mm sidewall

No, just using it to stress the point that I'm not a baller. Sometimes I wonder what percentage of their income people spend on wheels though.
