Default Looking for the right wheels...

I found the exact wheel I like and then I find out it only comes in 19's. I absolutly LOVE 19s, BUT I live in Louisiana, New Orleans to be more specific. I guess you could just say they have more potholes than hookers down here! I need to find a wheel very similar to these below in Black Chrome or a gunmetal type like pictured, that come in 18s. Any suggestions?

Look at the Privat Fahrens (sp?). To me, they are pretty similar to those, but I have never seen any opf them up close.

already looked at those, on the car at 18" they buldge out in the center, not too nice looking that was IMO. I did come across another wheel. But I happen to like the more expensive 2pc ones more...

I think the weight is less and the lip is bigger. I would need to see these wheels in person or better pictures before I buy them though! The first ones have won my heart but they would be destroyed on the NO streets.

2-piece forged as opposed to 1-piece cast. Look how much nicer the polished lip is on the 2-piece as opposed to the 1-piece. Not to mention the durability of a forged wheel to a cast wheel. Definintely worth the money IMO.

These are the wheels I want!!!!!!!!!!!

After looking into them, I don't like them as much as the 5ZR's I think its the wide spokes and the Black Chrome that has my eye. So, anyone know of 18s like this!??!

In addition to the cast vs. forged and appearance differences, these aren't available in widths that you'd want on a 350z, too narrow. AFAIK

How about the 5Zigen Copse, 2pc in 18x8 and 18x9? They run $525-575. Special order only though.

It was a toss-up between these and the Nismo but got a GREAT deal from my dealer on the Nismo's.

I would get those in 19's, just get a 40 profile tire that should be enough "meat" to protect you from the potholes..

I live in Philly and the potholes suck here

comparing sidewall thickness. On my eclipse GSX I went through at LEAST 1 tire a month. They were 225/45/17 about 3.8 inch sidewall and the 25x/19 26x/19 27x/19 is around 4.1 inch the stock tires are around 4.6 inch sidewall. I dunno, I just couldn't stand buying new tires every month! Not to mention, people around here have NO IDEA how to mount a tire on a 17 inch rim even. People complained they were too big and they were scratched often by people mounting tires onto them.

If 18's is the way to go for you...and you can wait. The 2Piece GGames above will be out. Currently its only avail in 19". Anyway..the 18s are about 60 days out.

question for you , todd. Why did you all take the Zigen 5ZR off your site? I think the price was listed wrong, I could have sworn I was looking at 280 a wheel. That is why I was going crazy about those 19s. But, then I looked around and they were 600 a piece holy god! I don't like the G Games, I am still looking for a nice wheel.
