Default 245/35 19f 265/30 19r ok?

So i have been reading a lot of the forms. Its been hard to find a good one on if i can run this set up. Most ppls seem to have the same 35 or 30 on the front and back. For those that did do run the set up i want some said there could be problems and others siad they did not experience vdc problems. Can anyone tell me if this set up is good. I want to run ADR M sport 19X8.5 in the front with 245/35r set up and 19X9.5 in the rear with a 265/30r set up or 275/30r. The reason for that set up is a friend said he could get me a good deal on 265/30r or 275/30r Nexen tires, but nexen doesnt make 275/35r tires. Ill use either of the back two types if one will help the vdc issue more. Any help would be great, just want to make sure this all works before I buy the tires. My knowkedge of all this tire size and offset and vdc stuff is

265 is to wide for your narrow front wheels.

Nexxen are okay if you want to save some money from the shock of purchasing wheels IMO. You have to switch to a better tire next time around though. I just went from the nexxen setup you're describing to Falken 452, and my Z is gripping so much harder... I'm literally pressed against the door doing 50 on those circle-onramps sometimes. 245/275 Nexxens are better than 225/245 stock tires though (lol).

You should be okay with VDC, I haven't had any issues with those size fitments on my '03 track (VDC-equipped). The ECU can adjust for changes of about three percent from OEM tire diameter.

The setup you ask about won’t work at all. It’s horrible for more than one reason.
  • Overall diameter of 245/35-19’ fronts: 25.75” (right on)
  • Overall diameter of 265/30-19” rears: 25.25” (should be 26.5”)

Notice that your rears have less overall diameter than your fronts. That is failure, especially if your car is VDC-equipped (100% failure in this setup)

Front tires are taller than rear. Back to the drawing board for you.

Going by that quote you seem to think that the sidewall height is an absolute measure.
It's not. that 30 or 35 in 245/35 and 275/30 is a percentage.

The fact somebody else sports a 305/30 r19 doesn't mean 265/30 r19 will be as tall but narrower.
It's a percentage of the width, which means 30% of a 305 is a much taller sidewall than 30% of 265.

You're supposed to have a certain height difference between front and back, with the back being taller (bigger overall circumference).
Your current proposed setup has rear wheels shorter than front.
Go 275/35 on the back.

With respect I think you can do a good job using the calculator yourself.
