Hey guys i want to powdercoat my stock wheels.

What do you think would look better? Flat black? shiny black? Gunmetal? Gray? What color should i paint them?

Yep get new wheels, painting stockers looks cheap imo, and those oem 17s look horrible to start with

That Lotus has some skinny *** tires. I mean I know its a light weight little car, but you'd think it would have some wider tires to maximize that handling.... and a little lower suspension as well.

 

I don't think any color can save the 17" stockers, but if you must:
"MATTE BLACK"....not flat black, not gloss black....MATTE/ SATIN black.

Might as well darken them so you can't see them.

The term "Gunmetal" has such a wide spectrum of shades. I mean what "gun" are you talking about? I've seen anything as light as silverstone, and as dark as charcoal to be considered "Gunmetal".

The best compromise between black/gunmetal would be "ANTHRACITE". No idea? Look it up.



It's light enough where skinny tires help it rotate in the corner. Too much tire in front and that @ss comes around like a saturday night on Sunset Blvd.
