Ah crap! Now i'm going to have to buy a set of RPF1's! lol
Real nice setup, even though i think i'll run an 18 in the rear, and slam the **** out of the car.
Still keep the 19's for the street.

wow those are awesome 17"ers.
I was looking to get Rota grid 18" but reading more about it I might look into 17" Enkei RPF1s instead!
I've got non-brembo stock "Brakes" now so guess I don't have to worry about clearance...
Awesome track setup OP

Anyone with the 332mm Stoptech BBK and these wheels be warned: You will have a hard time fitting a 275 tire on the front with a 17x9.5" wheel. I had to push my set to a net 17x9.5 +13 to clear the caliper, which led to the tire sticking out well beyond the fender. This was with a 275/40/17 V710 tire and 2.2 degrees of camber. Don't believe me? Well they're for sale, BNIB but mounted with tires for test-fit (tires removed now), for $850. They are 17x9.5 +38 offset because I wanted to use them on my 300ZXTT (no spacers) as well as the track 350 (with 20mm spacers to net a +18 offset), but they will not work with the BBK in the front.

13" Stop Techs is what I have, I'm just trying to figure out a wheel config for 17"s.
I'm thinking of that setup right now (255 front and 275 rear) with about 2.5 to 3 degs of camber up front and it should all fit and work. Hopefully it won't understeer more than I can tune out with everything else.
PS sorry if I hijacked this thread.

Ha, yeah sorry. After I posted that I realized that is a very uncommon size, I'd guess a 255/40/17 would be more likely.

Just added a square RPF1 17x9.5 +18 setup, running 255/40/17 Hankook RS3s. This is on a stock Nismo OEM suspension except SPL front upper arms. Tons of room in the back.
I put in a 5mm spacer (+13 effectively) and there was still a lot of room for tire or additional offset.
Still the ugly wheel gap without a drop, but this is a track setup...
There are no clearance issues on the front even at an estimated -0.8 camber, at least for a 255 wide tire. It's getting close though so have to do some testing on 265-295 to see if still clears the fender. Ataru is running 275s, but aggressive camber might be needed to clear. Here's some shots of suspension fully compressed w/ the 255 and running an estimated -0.8 camber (i.e. SPL arm w/ all three shims)...
Also, I did weigh the wheel/tire combo at 45lbs. It was 3lbs heavier than the manufacturer's claimed wheel (16lb) and tire weights (26lb).

honestly, who cares? function > form.
have you any idea on what happens to rims when you go to a road track and you use race pads like ferodo ds3000?
I don't need the car to hook up girls or to feel my wiener bigger. otherwise I wouldn't go to the track but drive a turbo 997 convertible to get some premium shallow blonde or asian.

I completely agree with you!!
When it comes to racing! Go as lightweight as possible, screw for how it looks on your car. Performance and Looks dont go together most of the time.

The Nismo 380RS runs 17's up front. The Autotech Tsukada Z33 runs 17in TE37's all around. The Autobacs GT300/500 SuperGT cars run 17's. There is NOTHING wrong with 17's on a track car.
