Default wheel question for Grand touring models

Hey everyone,

quick question...does anyone know the wheel widths for the grand touring model? I know they are 18s up from and 19s in the rear.

I need to buy new rear tires, and currently i have 265/35/19s, but they just look too skinny for the rear tires. sidewall bows inward. Anyone know if i go with a wider tire like a 275 will it look better? handle better? fit?

Mine is at home otherwise I would go check for you, but I know I have wider than 265s on the back. The tires I have came with the car when I bought it so I can't compare it to anything else.

Just go to your tire shop and they can tell you what the ranges for your OEM wheel are.

Not sure. Can you measure the width with a tape?

The Grand Touring model features version 2 of the Rays forged aluminum wheels. The aggressive 18x9/19x10 stance gives the Grand Touring model a more dominate look than the standard Touring trim level. The wider wheels and tires enhance the performance giving this trim package a more trackable feel right off the dealer's lot.

Its a 10 inch wide wheel , you car run 275/35 or even a 285/35 in the rear. The front can handle 255/40 and 275/35 and depending on rear tire 265/35

well in regards to your question, someone could still swap out wheels regardless of what model they bought so you probably don't want to depend on that in finding out what wheels you have based off just your vin. Would be nice for other stuff though like interior/engine/etc. that's not so easily swapped. I mean just go to the private classified wheel/tire forum and you'll routinely see people with GT wheels saying they're about to trade their car in and want to sell their wheels or take other stock oem+cash.

We figured it out. VDC is the key because the GT ROADSTERS didn't come with 18/19. They came with the 18/18 35th anniv. wheels.

Plus I bought my car brand new. 23 miles after my test drive. nothing was swapped out
