I think it would be helpful if the previous tires used were listed along with how they compared.

Not trying to **** in your pool, and I'm certain you know this, but the Tire Rack has an option for users to search out tire reviews for different vehicles.

Tire Brand/Model #: Bridgestone Potenza RE040
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 225/45/18 & 245/45/18
How Many Miles on your set: 11,000
Driving Style: Commuter Spirited Track Winter Weekend commuter and some spirited driving
Pros: Came on the car...
Cons: Expensive to replace, loud road noise, poor dry grip, aweful wet grip, poor treadwear rating
Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used): 35 psi.

Tire Brand/Model #: BFG KDW2
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 225/45/18 & 245/45/18
How Many Miles on your set: 30,000
Driving Style: Commuter Spirited Track Winter Commuter and some spirited driving
Pros: Low(er) cost, better performing tire than RE040. Awesome dry grip, very good wet grip, aggressive tread pattern, excellent treadwear rating for summer tire
Cons: none that I can claim based on my driving usage
Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used): 35 psi.

Tire Brand/Model #: Toyo Proxes T1R
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 245/35/19 & 275/35/19
How Many Miles on your set: 6,000
Driving Style: Commuter Spirited Track Winter Commuter with some spirited driving
Pros: Excellent dry grip, very good wet grip, aggressive tread pattern
Cons: None so far...may have to update in a few thousand miles
Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used): 35 psi

These are just my opinion on the tires I've had on my 350Z and I'm looking forward to reading others reviews!

Tire Brand/Model #: Michelin PS 2
Tire Size and Width:F 255/40/18 R 285/35/19
How Many Miles on your set: 5K
Driving Style: Spirited every chance i get!!!
Pros: Tires stick to the road like Glue. Ive never lost traction and trust me i've tried to many times on purpose. Excellent Wet Grip as well... Great Performance tire that has met my expectations. Thread wear is satisfactory for the way i drive the car.

Cons: Tire is getting Louder after 5k miles. Also ride quality is not all that great.. You literally feel every bump on the road. Gets annoying after a while... Price

Tire Brand/Model #: Falken FK452
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 245/35 255/35
How Many Miles on your set:3000
Driving Style: Daily driver
Pros: Tons quieter than stock but doesn't mean much since the Z isn't quiet to begin with. Deff a lot grippier dry/wet.
Cons: I dind't go with 275's in the rear but that's more my fault.
Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used) N/A

Tire Brand/Model #: Bridgestone RE-11
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 265/35/18 & 265/35/19
How Many Miles on your set: ~700
Driving Style: Commuter, Spirited, Mountain/Canyon roads, some track
Pros: Excellent grip, high limit, quick steering response and turn-in even with larger front tire than stock,
Cons: In terms of driving, none so far. As quiet and comfortable as stock IMO. However a bit concerned with treadwear. Have not yet driven in the wet. Limited tire sizes.
Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used) 36psi

-Was also considering the Kuhmo XS during purchase. Somewhat wished I went with a 275/30 in the rear.

Tire Brand/Model #: Bridgestone RE-11
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 225/45/18 & 245/45/18 (stock 08)
How Many Miles on your set: 700+
Driving Style: Daily driver, Spirited country driving
Pros: Tires stick great in the dry, I was very pleased. In the wisconsin rain 55-60 mph they performed like a champ. I usually drive with the radio at a normal level and I dont hear any tire noise at all.
Cons: I havent found any so far besides all kinds of **** sticks to them in parking lots lol.
I cant compare these to any past performance tires as I went from stock to blizzaks to these.

Tire Brand/Model #: Toyo T1Rs
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR: 19s, 285/30 rears, 245/35 fronts
How Many Miles on your set: 3k
Driving Style: daily driver, 3/4th city miles, spirited when able
Pros: dry grip is pretty good cornering but launching has been iffy sometimes, wet grip is excellent, very low tire noise
Cons: I hear they get very noisy towards the end of their life, supposedly don't last very long miles wise

Tire Brand/Model #: Bridgestone Potenza RE050 (stock)
Tire Size and Width:245/40/18 F 265/35/19 R
How Many Miles on your set: 3K
Driving Style: Commuter, conservative
Pros:sticky, great dry and wet performance, stiff sides, attractive sidewall and tread, relatively quiet
Cons: they wear FAST (UTOQ=140), bumpy ride and from what I've heard, once worn, they get loud and slippery
PSI: 35

I'll probably go with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus for my next tires, 255/40/18 F and 275/35/19 R

Haha, I actually asked cheston to unsticky it for now so it could get more views. It would be a good idea to re-sticky it later on though.

Tire Brand/Model #: Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 225/45/18 , 245/45/18
How Many Miles on your set: 23,000

Pros: Good all season tire, felt very confident in rain/cold weather
Cons: Not as sticky as the stock tires or the RE050
Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used) 35psi

Tire Brand/Model #: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position
Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR 255/40/18 , 275/40/18
How Many Miles on your set: 3000
Driving Style: Commuter Spirited Track
Pros: Much better traction in dry weather vs the RE960, stiff sidewall
Cons:I feel a little less confident in heavy rain on the highway, feels like it wants to glide left and right a bit, although this could just be due to the increased tire size, but I dont notice it when dry.

Tire Brand/Model #: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR: 245/40-18” F and 245/45-18” R

How Many Miles on your set: 10K

Driving Style (Commuter Spirited Track Winter): Commuter (occasionally “Spirited”)

Pros: Stick like glue on dry roadways and hold exceptionally well on wet roadways; runs quietly for a summer performance tire; comfortable ride for a summer performance tire

Cons: Expensive and wear fairly fast (as is common with summer-performance tires); soft sidewalls feel a little wiggly (but still handle great)

Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used): Running 34-36 front and 36-38 rear psi; these tires have moderately soft sidewall making them rather comfortable for a summer performance tire, but drivers preferring a stiff sidewall may not like the noticeable “wiggle-feel” when cornering hard

Tire Brand/Model #: Falken RT-615

Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR: 255/40-18” F and 255/40-18” R

How Many Miles on your set: 5K (Bought used tho)

Driving Style (Commuter Spirited Track Winter): Commuter / Spirited / Track

Pros: Cheap, good heat up. Easy to control slide. Good beginner tire for Autox.

Cons: Loud, heats up too quickly and gets too greasy for the track. Absolutely no wet grip.

Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used): 35 Street. 36F 34R autox. And about 33 F 32R on track.

Getting RE-11's next and can't wait for the insane grip!!

Tire Brand/Model #: Dunlop Graspic DS-2 studless snow tire

Tire Size and Width: FRONT & REAR: 225/55-17” on all corners (all-square setup enabling rotating the tires)

How Many Miles on your set: 4K

Driving Style (Commuter Spirited Track Winter): Winter tire/wheel setup

Pros: This tire literally turns your Z into a “snow tractor” since it goes anywhere in the winter (the only thing that stops this tire is the Z’s low clearance that makes you vulnerable to “high-centering"); the tire is very comfortable and nearly silent (no tire noise whatsoever); great grip in snow and on ice; it also runs very well on dry or wet roadways (sun or rain)

Cons: None

Other (i.e. Tire Pressure used): Running 34 front and 36 rear psi; This is truly a great tire since it performs exceptionally well as a studless snow tire in snow and on ice, but also runs just great on dry roadways and on wet surfaces in the rain (I’ve driven on these in the spring-time months); the tire has a moderately stiff sidewall so it handles very well, is nearly silent, and very comfortable (on any road surface); it’s by far the best winter tire I’ve run, and it’s even decent as a “regular” tire

Tire Brand/Model #: BFG KDW2
Tire Size and Width: F:255/35/19 R:285/35/19
How Many Miles on your set: 4,500
Driving Style: Commuter+Spirited
Pros: Very good grip, steering feel and feedback. Noticed much less wheel spin during a launch from a dead stop (compared to stock RE050a's). High treadwear rating. Great value for the sizes purchased.
Cons: Supposedly they are supposed to generate lots of noise. I have yet to hear any noticeable loudness though. I will update this if I do.
