Thumbs up Weds SA-70 and Hankook RS-3 set up-Thanks Gruppe-S!

Finally got the new wheel and tire set-up that I can't be more happy with for driving on street and track days that was all made possible by Gruppe-S.
The set up is Weds sports SA-70 bronze 18x9+20 all around wrapped with Hankook RS-3s 265-35-18 all around. I love the Weds wheels expecually the bronze with blue ring they added, really nice of set to the San Marino Blue 350Z.
This set up is amazing for handling as the lighter weight wheels are a definate improvement and a noticable over stock and the extreme gripping power of the RS-3s are out of this world. the non-staggered set up is a huge improvement to me and makes the car so much more predictable and just pulls you right through corners with little or no lateral movement.
Doing a couple of launches with these tires, there was also very little slipping/wheel hop. I'll be soon tracking these and get a follow up then.
Untill that here is some photos of the set up on the Z. Let me know what you think. And again a huge thanks to Gruppe-S to making this possible.

RS3 for the win... I am running 285/35/18 all around RS3 and I always try to make an excuse to drive more now

I'd like to try the RS3's. I'd really like to see a comparison of the RS3's versus other tires like Yokohama AD08, Bridgestone RE-11, etc.

we should kidnap our tirerack rep here until they do that.
add kumho xs and direzza star spec to the test.

looks like they have all the new "must have" tires but the nitto nt05.
could be a nice test.

thanks, and 18x9 do what I need, and can go bigger later if need be,but NA set up this is just fine for now running 265s. to me this seems great between size-power-grip out put.
Drove these last night during some heavier spirts of rain and they work really well for a max performance summer tire in wet conditions, yes there is less grip but still plenty there for confident driving in the not so nice rainy weather.
Thanks Ed Hardy

Good choice. I think you will find these wheels very reliable for daily driving. Soap and water will keep them looking new for tens of thousands of miles.
