I had them on my G35 and they were great for the price. Even tracked them once and while a bit noisy at their limits, they stuck pretty well.

Generals are no good, other than being cheaply priced.

Generals Exclaims are great tires and have great reviews. Have you guys actually owned them or just speaking bs? Because I have and know many who have and all of them love them.

Yes, have had the displeasure of owning them in 19" sizes. Got rid of them within a month or two.

I have the 245/35 275/30 (19) combo on my Z. I think these tires a great! I've gotten over 40000 miles on my rear tires. The one thing I don't like is due to the tire feathering issue, these tires can be quite loud.

I have driven on them, and thought they were too soft. Any tire that loses in a heads-up comparison to the horrible ES100 stinks in my book. I'm sort of a tire snob though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Yes I just put them on and like them. They stick much better than the goodyear run craps that were on the car. The also are quite good on wet roads. At $200 ea that 1/2 the price so ya good tire.

Well I had them on 19s so I couldn't tell if they were soft or not.

There are plenty of Kyle Petty clones out there that could not tell a soft tire or find their butt with a map.......buy the Generals, you will not be disappointed.

Depends on what you are used to driving. Coming from a PS2, S02, RE01R, or even RT615, if you have the same expectations, you will be disappointed.

a wise man once told me.. you'll pay less than half the price of PS2's but you'll get more than half the performance... great bang for your buck and perfectly fine for dd-ing & mild spirited driving...

Agree with you on that one -- great for daily and some spirited driving. I've been pretty happy with the 19" (235/35, 265/30) on my wife's Benz. Also, these tires mounted and balanced are cheaper at Discount Tire. The tires are cheaper at Tire Rack, but after shipping and mounting at one of their approved installers, the total ends up being more expensive.

I had them for the wife's R33 out here, 245/40 17s on a set of 17x9 rims. They weren't bad considering I paid $75 a pop for them. Beats the hell out of rocking the stock 16x6.5 rims with craptacular Dunlops on them.
