General Exclaim UHP
over 40k? thats real good. i am guessing you took the right measurments to last that long? alignment, camber kit? i have the same tires but my rears definitely needs to be replaced. i put about 18k in the last 2 yrs without getting it aligned an my rears tend to be quite loud at times, but not at highway speeds. next month ill have the funds to get me new tires and this time i will do what is necessary to keep the tires lasting long, alignment an if needed, camber kit...
I'm on my 2nd set of UHP's now on my GTO. 245/40-18. First set got 30k out of them and the second set has about 25k on them now. I've been very pleased with them, especially the wet traction.
I've been driving these for about 20k now, feels good, went to AutoX one time with them and they seem to do their job well. I'm taking them to the track next weekend (TX Z Party). I hope they wont scream like those Goodyr Screaming Eagles.........
Overall, for DD, it's really good for the buck!

these seems like a great solution for me!
i never auto X or anything.. just street driving. a little agressive but i think these will do the trick!
beats Michillen ps2 that cost like 560 per tire! and only last like 10-20 k
thanks everyone for the input! but whish they have in 285 for the rear!

The first set of generals lasted less than a year because of poor alignment specs. I bought a set of BattleVersion Camber arms and toe bolts to take care of that. The rear tires are on their way out but I'm logged over 40K with the tires I have on the car now.
question for those who have experienced with general exclaim uhp- I currently have them on my car put them on yesterday actually (rear tires only) and when changing lanes with street completely dry somewhat faster than normal, or like if you were trying to dodge a pothole or something, i feel them slidding a bit which has never happened to me before with the stocks and some federals i just got rid of, they act kind of like when the road is wet and if you get on it you might slide around a litttle.
Can this be related to alignment, i plan on getting that looked at or is it just that the sidewalls are softer or because i'm running them 255/45/18 with stock rims ?

Generals Exclaims are great tires and have great reviews. Have you guys actually owned them or just speaking bs? Because I have and know many who have and all of them love them.

No complaints here. They have been ZdayZ tested on the dragon and meet my seal of approval.

They were definitely better in all aspects comaring to OEM RE040.
They are also cheaper comparing to Michelin PS2.
I enjoyed the tires and also highly recommand it.
