Default SSR Wheels Weight Request Thread

Hello All,

We often get asked what the exact weight of our wheels are. Honestly, we have some of the weights listed on our site, but not all of them are there. It's not because we want to hide it -- as a matter of fact, we've got all the weight data, but the numbers just weren't input when the site was made. (We're fixing that in the next version).

As a side project, we decided to weigh some of the wheels we had in our warehouse.

Sometimes we are the lightest, sometimes we are not. Either way, its great for our potential customers and existing customers to know where our wheels stand on the topic of weight. But remember, weight is not everything. Sometimes a poorly-made wheel is light but sacrifices rigidity. We make all our wheels with durability as the #1 point of importance, with weight and appearance coming afterward. There is a lot of R&D that goes into making our wheels.

BUT the main purpose of this thread is to give you guys an opportunity to find the weights for any of our wheels that you may be interested in. With that said, any requests???? I need the wheel/size/offset, and I can get you the weight

P.S. The scale reads like this: [ lbs / ounces ] So, when you see 22 0.5, it means the wheel weighs 22 Lbs and 0.5 ounces.

Type-C 18x9.5 +23

Type-F 19x10.5 +15

Werfen GT3 20x9.5 +18

VF1 19x9.5 +0

Type-F 16x6.5 +45

MS1 18x9 +7

SSR Competitions, 18x10.5 +43 and 18x9 +30(31?)
SSR GT3, 19x9 +31, 19x10.5 +43

I wish SSR still made the GT1/Integral wheels - they were good looking and light weight.

Thanks!

Scotts300: The SSR Type C-RS weights:

18 x 10.5 +43: The closest one we made was 18 x 10.5 +45. That wheel was 19.7 lbs each. Unfortunately, the 18 x 10.5 size has been discontinued. We do have 19 and 17 x 10.5 left still.

Although we still do make the SSR Type F in 18 x 10.5 in either + 15 or + 25. These wheels weigh 20.2 and 20.1 lbs respectively.

18 x 9 +30(31?): We have an 18 x 9 + 40 Type C-RS, and that wheel weighs 19.6 lbs.

SSR Werfen GT-03 weights:

19 x 9 +31 (Hyper Disk): 27.17 lbs

19 x 10.5 +43 (Normal Disk): 27.97 lbs

Mthreat: Unfortunately, the SSR Integral GT1 wheels have been discontinued since Tanabe bought SSR Wheels. So, we do not have the wheel weight data for this wheel anymore.

However, if you do ever weigh the wheel without the tire on it, please do share the weight.

I should have been more specific, we can do any wheel weights for currently offered wheels.

Awesome wheels! I had a set of 17x8/17x9, and they were VERY light. I love their look.
