Official Aggressive Wheels & Fat Tires Thread
I ran a GTR rear tire for several months (285/35/20) while I have a 245/35/20 up front. i know 
... had some understeer if I turned in like a maniac but nothing that made me want to punch myself in the face. Raped those tires having some figure 8 fun and decided to push it a bit. So I got a set of 295/35/20 for the rear. Understeer increased as expected. My biggest problem was during high speed sweepers the *** felt like it had a mind of its own. If I have the car set on the turn and there is a dip on the road it feels like the *** if going to lift off and take the car with it. Then I remembered i had the shocks set a full soft in the rear for better grip from a stand still. So I went to the shop took them out and stiffened it up a bit and bam!!! Problem solved. Now it is back to its usual nose dive if you come in too hot but its about all i can do without getting rid of the big waste of metal I call my wheels. lol

Thanks bro. Really appreciate it. felt like it took forever to get done. It was awesome though. At first, my experience with working on cars was limited to oil changes and installing my popcharger. Now short of pulling the engine, there's nothing iI wouldn't at least attempt to do myself.

fitting 12" rears on stock body
hey guys i can get 12" rears and 345/30/19 for a ridiculous price. camber is +2 but i got some 5mm spacers that can make it -3. im looking to have as close to stock offset or 0 degrees as possible. can i run these with a fender roll/slight pull? i need traction bad and dont wanna run a widebody or have stupid useless camber and stretched tires. bottom line i want useable traction lol, halps me!
I'm running an 11 inch rear at +30 offset with a 295 and my stock wheel well with fender rolled flat is pretty much filled. A 12 inch rear at +2 offset is going to stick WAY outside of your fender. My wheel is flush with the rolled fender and yours would be 41 MM extended past where mine sits. it's not gonna happen without aftermarket fender flares, five minutes of research on this site would have told you that.

I'm running 10.5 with 305 +22 offset on 19's with a half cut fender.. No issues... I'm going to step things up next spring to a wider tire completely cut n stretched fenders...
For one your question is backwards, the OFFSEt on the wheels is +3 and you want to run stock camber.
Factory spec camber is zero - neg 2 camber.
You could definitely run a 12 wheel with -1.5 to -2 camber with a roll, but not with that wide of a tire, that would be on a 275.
Also really depends on the ride height of the car as well. The lower you go the more the suspension comes towards the center of the car.
So I would say to run a 305/315 series tire, a 12" wheel with a +10 offset with factory spec camber would be good

Ahh my favorite thread... quick question anyone running "true" coilovers with a 11inch width wheel probably 305 tires, if so how is the clearance of the inside of the wheel/tire and the coilover... thx

If you want traction, get an off-the-shelf 10 or 10.5" wheel and run a sticky 295 tire on it with a touch of positive camber. It will need to be high offset, like +25-30, to be safe. RPF1, for example, comes in 18x10 +38, and allows for a 305 tire without issue.
