If you think about it, not having the stagger in tire height will change weight distro , your caster angle. I love the neutral handling of a square setup, but i havn't figured out a way to set up the suspension for equal tire heights.

EDIT:
Alright...Terrasmak is forcing me to reconsider my square set-up. Is the optimal track configuration (for a 450+HP) Z staggered or square? The square setup allows for tire rotation which is clearly an advantage but how is the actual PERFORMANCE?
There must be lots of track experience on this board to help me out here.
What about a 285/35/18 up front paired with a 305/30/19 rear? Would if fit? It must offer a pile more traction...

Another member suggested I repay my question here. Reading through a bunch of pages, it seems this is the right thread!
Here goes:
About to pull the trigger on my race wheels for 2012 and wanted to get one last confirmation that fitment should go smoothly. Looking for the advice of some of the resident race experts here (scotts300!).
The plan was to run a square set-up of Hankook RS3s in 285/18/35 on Enkei RPF1s (18x10.5 +15).
Lowered on Bilstein PSS10s and the rear fenders are already rolled.
I think I already saw this setup on one of the threads in here, but I have read so many posts my head is ready to explode.
Experts: Any last thoughts before I order?
Thanks in advance.

Here are my 285 RS3s on 9.5 +15 RPF1s. They did rub in the back a tad until I rolled the fenders tightly - I also have a lot of camber dialed in.

Front:
I have two sets of the TSW Interlagos (18x10.5 +27), and am going to offload one set since I bought the race car. They are less than 1# heavier than the 10.5 +15 RPF1. I do use a small spacer with them in the front.

Couldn't the lack of tire/wheel stagger be offset by coilover height adjustment? If not made up for entirely, it could certainly be minimized I would think.

I've run EVERY setup w/ 18x10.5 +15 (ssr type-f) all four corners.
By that I mean - 245-295/35-40 f to 265-295/35-40 r.
Without a doubt 285/35/18's on all four corners gave me the worst driving
impression for road use. The car generated unpleasant input and a very
obvious predisposition for strong feedback at speed (in turn).
I've come to the conclusion that 265f 285r 35/18 was the best simple setup.
I'm now experimenting with the concept of 285f 305-335r 35/18.
Once I get to another good feel/look setup I'll post up pics and commentary.

V2 GT track wheels 19x10 x4
Alright, so I have been researching for days and have learned quite a bit about wheel fitment but I have no personal experience with this so I'm just gonna ask.
I have an 06 350z GT. It has the V2 track wheels. 18x9+30 in the front and 19x10+30 in the rear with the rear tires being 275 30r19. I just recently picked up another complete set and want to put the 19s all the way around. Anyone have any personal experience with this set up ( have pics ?). I was hoping to throw the 275 30r19s in the front and go wider in the rear. I know that I will most likely have to change the offset in the front with 10mm spacers but am unsure how this will look or if the 275s will even fit up front. Hit me with ur suggestions on how to make this look good. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

The front isn't going to be much help. 19x8+10 235/35/19
The reason for the skinny fronts is a friend gave me a deal on his slightly used Pirelli PZero Rosso 997 take offs.
