I was comparing the amount of stretch to that of a 305 on a 10.5, which would bulge more than the 275/9.5. Im only speaking of a 30 aspect. The tire brand will be a huge factor as well. I guess the term "stretch" is subjective when dealing with normal fitting tires. To me if the lip protector isn't touching the lip itself then its beginning to stretch.
Dunlop dz101 275/30 on a 9.5, known for running narrow:

Other end of the spectrum. Pirelli PZero Rosso, a much better fit:

There are other brands that run even more narrow/wide. Can't speak on the Invos though, never seen one mounted in that size.

Sometimes the tire sidewall raised/protector design gives you a false stretched look. Various side wall designs will make the tire either look fat or stretched without actually being one or the other.

Definitely true, and the camera angles can also be deceptive. That pic of the direzzas look to be unquestionably stretched with that angled sidewall.
Regardless, I wasnt trying to say "275/30 will stretch on a 9.5", rather the 305 will bulge more on a 10.5 than a 275 would on a 9.5. The 10.5 wheel is 26.4 mm wider than the 9.5 yet the tire is 30mm wider, so the 305 will be 2.2mm wider on each side of the rim.
That yoko fit looks superb.

They'll definately fit. It's up to you if you like the way they look or not. If you don't like them DT will probably just order you another size. If they say you're stuck with them I'd find another DT to deal with. The 275's will bulge just slightly more on a 9" wheel than your 305's will on a 10.5" wheel. Will you be able to tell? Maybe maybe not. It's only about 8mm and your sidewall heights are different from front to rear.

If there isnt a noticable difference in size I will be ok. Not sure why Concept One did the size like they did. Makes tire buying difficult.
Will the sidewal hieght look stupid? What would have been a better size to have gone with (275/35?) for future reference. And where is that calulator from?

Go to post #4807 and I posted the link and pics of my car there. Sidewall height of the 275/30 is a perfect match for your 305/30. A 9.5" front wheel would make it look better. Unless you're super picky which it doesn't sound like you are you'll be fine. I would of been torn between the 275/30 or 255/35 with your rear setup.
By the way that looks on a 10in I will be more than ok on a 9in. Thanks for posting the pic!
