Talking Finally My Shoes Are On!! Pt. 2

Well finally got everything done..... Lil bit of problems here and there but overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Well again I've got 19" Maya RT5's with Toyo T1R's 255/35/19F & 285/35/19R dropped with Tein H-Tech springs. Thought I could get the TPMS on the rims but no success and also thought I'd need the rear camber kit with toe bolts but nope I didn't. Told me there are plenty of adjustment left on the stock ones so no need to add those. Anyways here's some pics hope yall enjoy!!

Of course you don't need a rear camber kit with toe bolts look how damn high your car still sits. Drop it more and then tell me you don't need a rear camber kit with toe bolts after your tire's wear out by going down the street a couple of blocks..haha. Your car needs to be dropped more...my opinion. Wheels look nice though but not a big fan of chrome.

Guess I just kept getting mixed advice some told me I'd need them and some didn't think I'd need them but I guess I'm better safe than sorry. I'll drop it more maybe later but I like were its sitting for now. I'd like to get coilovers down the road but at least with this drop it shouldn't destroy my stock struts since its not a huge drop.

Once your fenders hugs your tires you will need a camber kit immediately for the rear. So, if you plan on dropping it more make sure you get the camber kit first. Otherwise you will be going through rear tires like crazy....talking from experience. Hope this advise helps you out.

Well I already have the camber kit so maybe I'll just hold on to them just in case I feel like dropping it lower. Guess the same goes for the TPMS I also have. Whenever I get around to installing new tires I'll try installing those as well but this time I'll have to get a different bracket to mount them.

It will look so much better with a lower drop. My wheels are pretty similiar to your as far as the design.

OP you car need sto be lower but all that matters is that you are happy with the results.

The size of the wheels are:
front=20+9 offset:+15
rear=20+10 offset:+22

suspension:
tanabe gf210 + rear bump stop mod (to get stance perfect)

Thanks for the compliment i'm pretty **** about ride stance and wheel fitment!!!

Well I definitely agree with you guys as far as lowering my car more but as I'm sure most of you know buying rims, tires, TPMS, camber kits, plus mounting and install tends to add alot to final cost. Plus had to shell out a more to fix 3 of the 4 rims cause of bends but they were used so being perfect wasn't expected. So dropping on these Tein H was a quick and cheap solution for the time being we all know how much a good set of coilovers cost. I'll upgrade to coilovers in a few months just didn't want to ride at stock height cause it looked way to high there. Anyways thanks for the comments good and bad!!

Trugrider: Your wheels are nice man you should be pround of them. It is just the little details that you have to complete to make it look perfect. It really isn't necessary for a coilover kit which is really expensive if your not tracking your car. You can find tanabae gf210 for pretty cheap and then do the bump stop mod which is free...you can find it in the diy section under suspension. If i remember correctly i bought my springs for $120 brand new. I understand man costs add up quick, lol. If you have some tools and some patience you should be able to do the camber kit yourself there is also diy for this in the suspension section.

Thanks marques1 for the info. I've research alot of stuff on here and as far as I understand the Tein H can be used without having to buy aftermarket struts just in case I should have to go back to stock these won't be ruined. Do the gf210 require better struts to support the drop? Really haven't done much reading on Tanabae suspension products but if I can't use my stock struts without blowing them then those aftermarket struts will run about another $450+. I'll run like this for now but will upgrade. Oh plus my bro is a mechanic but getting him to work on my cars is like pulling teeth!! lol I'm sure when I get around to lowering the car more he'll just install the camber kit might get him to do the bump stop mod to. Thanks again for the help!!

Most people i know running gf210 are running stock struts without complications. I have had my car lowered on stock struts for years and haven't had any issues....so i would say your good.

+1 chrome and orange dont seem to go well together...maybe its because they arent volks

But if you like them stick with them..

Shouldnt cost oyu more then $100 per rim to get them powercoated, unless you do it yourself...oh and get a drop going...quick

Damn seems like some people drank all the haterade I guess!! What's with all the bashing?!? To each his own so unless your the one paying for my **** no need to tell me what I need to do. I'm happy with the way it looks and of course that's what matters. I knew not everyone would like it but there's no reason to say it looks like *** cause I can assure you your opinion doesn't hold much value to me. Just wanted to share what I've done with MY car. Thanks for the comments anyways!! Later!!
