Default Will these tires fit?

Was looking for new rear and front tires for my Z and came across these:

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...-direzzas.html

Was wondering if they would fit stock 2008 350Z wheels. Thanks!

They are all wrong . First the 275/35 is the proper front tire size , second only your rear wheels are wide enough for the 255's. Last, just because people do it doesn't make it right, nor smart.

Too big for stockers, but if you decide to more forward anyway, I'd get a picture that shows the tread depth better. Generally, people selling tires take a random stab at the % tread that remains without putting a micrometer or depth gauge inside the grooves. Get a good pic of the inside of the tire where it shows the wear bar.

255 Front/275 Rear, not the other way around.

The other way around is just ridiculous.

So the general consensus is that they will fit.

I dont know why someone posted that 275 for the front and 255 for the rear .

I take that back - you are on stock 08' wheels. 275 is too large for the rear 8.5" wheel. The 255 on the 8" wheel is marginal.

Never said to run the 255's in the rear, i just mentioned the rear wheels are the only ones wide enought to run the 255's.

Big difference between fitting and installing. I could put 335/70-18's on my stock wheels, doesn't mean they actually fit. Look at EMO kids wearing girls jeans, they are wearing them around their knees, doesn"t mean they actually fit.

Agreed. 285 on an 8.5 for anything but specialized autox is too large.

Just because a wider tire can physically be mounted doesn't mean it fits correctly or that it's a good idea. Running a tire on a wheel that is narrower than the range recommended by the tire manufacturer can be dangerous. It causes too much sidewall flex and unpredictable handling during cornering with moderate to high lateral load, including evasive maneuvers to avoid a collision.
