Hey Zgirl,

That blue and black seat you show as your avatar is awesome!
The blue looks better with the silver than red or yellow.

Would you be willing to send or post a larger image so I can show it to the local seat upholstery guys. I'm not that computer literate, you see. Thanks!

haha...thank you flyingscot - but i'm not taking credit for something that isn't my work! the photoshop expert here is tbcz (aka tim) - he's the one that did that for me (and the board of course)...the thread for the photoshop of the seats is: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/195-different-seat-colors.html Scroll down to it and right click and you should be able to save as...good luck! let me know if you have any problems and/or need me to e-mail it to you...

Tim - you must feel so good that i've gotten so many compliments on the avatar in the past 2 days! Like I said, you're the bomb!

Wheels and tires will prob be the first thing I do.... I am thinking OZ superlaggas (1 or 3 piece), likely 19's, possibly 18's with the S-03 or TS-1's.

Where are those shops in Dallas, I am there all the time, I have tried to find some places to get some stuff for my MAX but have not found much in Dallas or Austin.... I would like to check them out, although the MAX is now fully modded, the Z will be under the knife the minute I get it.

I'm thinking about getting a new set of 18's, but keeping the stock tires, might as well use em, especially at 200 or more a tire. If a photoshopper could put these wheels on a pic of the Z, whatever pic is easiest, I would really appreciate it.

Bah, I can't get it to link, attach, or just put the image here, so if anyone could photoshop the SSR GT1's onto a Z I would be very happy, there are pics on tirerack if you try to put the wheels on the car (1996 Z can use em) then click on the 'closer view' link on the left.

It shows the broken link icon on your post too, can you see the pic? Maybe it's just me.

Default Keeping the stock 18"

Reason is it has TIRE PRESURE MONITOR. If I change the rims, I will loose that IMPORTANT feature

Default Tire pressure Monitor

It depends on the type of monitor.... The most common is a sensor mounted inside the tire on the wheel, you would loose that, but BMW monitors the rotational speed of each wheel to determine in pressure decreases, i.e. if one wheel is moving slower=less pressure, or something like that. Anyway, point is there are different ways to monitor pressure, so it depends on what Nissan uses....

Anybody have a pic of a car with OZ F1 Cup Wheels? I always liked the way they looked, but I've never seen them on an actual vehicle.

I agree with the above post that most wheel mods probably only detract from the performance of the car. But, not to subscribe to the "All Show, No Go" philosophy, but a nice set of wheels really can make some cars shine.
heres the pic u want:

The O.Z. are nice wheels, but not particularly my style for the Z. It has been my observence that 'sports cars' look alot nicer with some type of a '5-spoke design, particularly with a 'lip'. You will soon see what I'm talkin' about. Trust me....................!!!

Default Wheels,etc.

I like the looks of the 17" wheels with 7 spokes and since traveling long distances is my plan, theY'll be more comfortable on some of our crumbling highways. I sure would like to know what the tires are going to be. I e-mailed Nissan Consumer Relations and suggested that some "High performance" tires aren't and they should be looking at the surveys at Tire Rack as a guide. My point and I stated it, was Nissan needs to get it right on the 350Z's debut and putting crappy performance tires on it would damage that effort. Good marketing leads to sales and delivering the right product leads to more sales.

I better get my Michelins!

I really like the Rays that come with the track model so I don't think I'll be changing those. I will probably buy another set of rims for snow tires (if I don't buy a winter beater), and I will buy a pair of rims with drag radials for racing.

Those Yokahama AVS (Yes, they're actually made by Yokahama!) are very nice looking wheels. My only problem is that the spokes protrude out, and you risk scrapping them easily.

Thumbs up * Wheel Fitment Dimensions * (Tires & Rims)

What's up guys! Does anyone know or can find out the EXACT WHEEL FITMENT DIMENSIONS? I don't mean 17, 18, 19in etc., I mean OFFSET & BOLT PATTERN. My new wheels will be available for the 1st time in August, and I just received the dimension/specs for them today. So I'm trying to match the specs. Also will a 19X9.5 rim wearing 275-285/30/19 fit in the rear? This is very important and serious, so please if anyone knows please reply, if not, cool, I will continue researching.
Thanks!

I'm curious about that too. I don't think we'll know until someone actually get their hands on one.
