I just talked to the CEO of Venaci N/A(according to super street, AKA Rick from STATUS) and Venaci's are made by WORK. so are they knockoffs? yes and no... yes it's the same design, but it's still made by the same company jsut branded differently.
He also mentioned that even though Venaci is manufactured by WORK, the brand Venaci itself is a joint venture of alot of different Japanese wheel manufacturers, Rays included. The idea is to provide great wheels, at a bit more affordable price. If you get price quote, you will see that these are a bit cheaper then all the WORK and Rays wheels. From what he explained to me today, this is my understanding.
I just placed my order for Venaci spirits and i'm pretty excited. The Venaci's do come with a diamond cut lip which for my preference is better because then you dont have to worry about the maintenance involved with full polished lips.

Does anyone know what the cost differential is between the two wheels? I was under the impression that Venaci wheels are also fairly expensive. This comparison would really shed some light about this brands market position and shed some light for guys sitting on the fence, like me
