supposed to be.. you mean as in stock?

18x8 +30 front or rear
18x8 +30 / 18x8.5 +33

unless you have track or nismos or even the 17"s lol
anyways google search "350z wiki wheels"

Not aggressive, but perfectly fine. The proper offset for your car is 30, but most of us like to run down in the teens for 9.5 10.5 combo's.

Offset for wheels is not "supposed to be" anything. The possible combinations of wheel width and offset is infinite.

look through the aggressive offset and stretch tire threads. if you look at the pics and read the specs they state you will learn quickly what it means.

As for your rims....yes that will fit just fine.

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Well to keep your pivot angles and other aspects of your suspension functioning as designed the offset will be 30.

Although your posts give me a headache, I will try and help anyway. It sounds like you have a clutch problem. Sellers will tell you whatever you want to hear to sell a car, including the dealership.

Do you have an automatic? I don't understand the part where it was in gear and then 6-10 seconds later it goes back into gear.

Do you get a slip light? If so , what are your tire sizes.

Sounds like traction control is intervening. Make sure your back tire is 0.8~1" taller then your fronts. Having a front tire same or taller then the rear is going to cause that "bogging" which is the conputer thinking your car is losing traction.

Front tires are taller than the rears - VDC doesn't like that. 225/275 is an odd combination regardless.

yeah your front tires being taller than your rears is causing your car to think its slipping...make sure you buy correct tire sizes on your new wheels

255/35 front and 285/35 rear , 275/30 front 285/35 rear, 275/30 f 295/30R , 245/35f 275/35r, 255/35f 275/35r , and the list could keep going on for a while.
