Default buying new tires need help

Hey guys right now Im running 275/40/18 in the rear whats the lowest width I can run im lowered on eibach sportlines thanks guys, also is the lower the width the cheaper the tire?

Yes. Same brand a 255 mm tire will be less expensive than a 275 mm tire.

so should I got with a 245 on the rear or a 255 or does it really matter which? also i have 17s on the front running 205/40/17

No it shouldn't rub. 245/45-18 is same diameter as 275/40-18 (The tire size you have now as you stated). It's just a skinnier tire than the 275.

205/17 front and 275/18 rear? Are you sure about that? If the 205 is right, it's not likely you can safely put on a 245. Without knowing the width of your rear wheel, anyone suggesting another tire size is merely guessing. You could have an oversized 275 on a 8" wheel for all we know.

went with the 275 for the new tires the wheel was wide maybe 10 inch , the fronts are 255/40/17 sorry

You went from a 205 to a 255 on a 17" front and a 275 on an 18" rear? Odd.

i was wrong about the fronts when I first told you guys, they were 255's 40 on the front the whole time
