Default Tire size :245/45F 275/45R

Hi,
I'm looking for new tires for my 06 Base coupe...
My car currently has Falken 452 running that combination (245/45F 275/45R)...

How does the size increase affect handling?

I'm not crazy about the handling but then again, I don't know what my car handles like with the stock set up...

I love the way the 245/275s look but I'll sacrifice that over handling...

Also any suggestions in terms of brand?

I'm on a budget and I'm looking at the Kuhmo Ecsta ASX...

Thanks!

are you sure its not a 245/40 f and 275/40 rear combo , cause i don't believe they offer a 275/45 in that tire.

Also what wheels are you running?

I think the 275 is too big for a base 18x8.5 wheel. Maybe that's why it handles like pooh. Spend some money on a good, properly-sized, set of tires.

You put a 275 mm tire on a 8.5 inch wheel? Why did you do that?

Get proper size tires for your wheels or proper size wheels for your tires.

Terramask - you were right...they're 275/40s in the rear...The fronts are as stated...
Davidv - I didn't...the previous owner did...I would have probably stuck to the stock size...
Thanks for your advice guys...
Anyone have any feedback on Continental? I've never had these before...

Depends on which Continental. I drove on a set of Conti Sport Contacts and they were horrible, and I've avoided their brand ever since.
