Default Lug Nut question

I'm getting new tires/rims installed soon and the place I'm getting them installed said I would need new lug nuts which would run $60. Is that a bit high and could you guys recommend anyplace to get them online? I guess this is a stupid question but I see different size lug nuts, which one will I need?

Uh check the marketplace here perhaps?
There are tons of options. Most are more than $60, but they look nice and some are locking lugs which is a good idea.

+1 There are plenty of vendors on the forum that supply all different colors/open/closed/long/short replacement lugs. I personally went for a set of red Muteki's which looked pretty good.

$3 a piece sounds reasonable. If you look at Rays and some of the other high end ones they run over $120 for a set.

There's open ended and closed ended lugs as well as extended lugs.

Start researching here. It will help a lot:

I just found that thread, damn lugs can get expensive. What do you guys think of these,
These all seem like there decently priced and they all come with free shipping as well which I like:
http://www.nlmotoring.com/SearchResu...x=0&Search.y=0
What do you guys think, any major differences between any of them?
Why is one of them almost half the price of the others?
They look to be almost the exact same size and weight.
The Muteki say they are made of steel while the other doesn't?
Are cheaper ones made of something different.

The price is what attracts me of course.

EDIT: Or these:
http://www.nlmotoring.com/Muteki-Spl...mut-41885b.htm
They hold the most important part of your vehicle onto the rest of the car. Don't cheap out man, you'll thank me later. Spend the extra $40 and get some decent ones. They don't need to be Rays but they should be something with feedback from other members on (or atleast I wouldn't trust anything that didn't have feedback) The lugs to the link you provided are 1/4 of the price of great lugs. Makes you stop and think why it's sooo much cheaper. Quality>quantity.

Is Muteki a good brand?
http://www.nlmotoring.com/Muteki-Spl...mut-41885b.htm
"Muteki spline drive lug nuts are made of 1008 cold rolled steel which is ideal for high-strength lightweight lug nuts."
What do you think about those?

Sure. I trusted Muteki with mine (check my sig) I got a set of red anodized closed lugs and they came out awesome. PM one of the vendors to see if they can beat that price for you. This site is full of good deals compared to other sites. Good luck

Here's a pic with them installed on mine if you're considering the red ones:

Lug nuts should not be a problem. Thread is standard. What you will find is some tuner nuts that need a special tool to install. Certainly you can google lug nut 350Z.

$33 is reasonable. Keep in mind that those must be removed-installed with a special tool.
