Default Need help choosing offset +18 vs +38

Going to order some enkei rpf1 17x10 all around. They make them in 2 offsets, +18 and +38. Im aiming more towards the +18 thinking id probably have to run spacers with the +38. Anyone have experience with these wheels and offsets? Im hoping the +18 wont be too aggressive. Currently on 06+ non brembo's but planning on upgrading to brembo's in the near future if that matters for the wheel clearance. Planning on running 275/40/17 tires and cars on JIC flt-a2 coilovers. Thanks in advance.

How much camber do you plan to use? YOu will need a lot to clear the front tires.

You may want to check with owners of Volk GT-S , those have aggresive offsets +17; +18 . I belive people have to cut/roll fenders if they are lowered. GL

+18 for rear. I'm running 19x10.5 +18 rears with 285 wide tires.

Bingo.

A 10" wide in the front with +18 is doable, but would need absolutely wicked camber if you wanted to run a 275.

You'd probably be better off getting the +38 front with maybe a 10mm spacer. That should fit for sure, but if it was me, I'd keep looking until I could find a wheel with the proper offsets. Alas, your wheels and your money = your choice.

hmmm considering 17x9 all around now as they have them in +22 offset. Would you think there would be a noticable difference in traction if I decided to stay with the 275/40/17 size tires?
