I know - kinda nice to know my FRONT WORK rims are 20.7 lbs...

Also the Volk 18's are super light..all are pretty much less than 18lbs...

Not sure all info is correct though, I remember having actually weighed my 18"x9 front Meister S2R and they weren't over 10kg. They were more like 8kg. Next time I change tyres I'll weigh them again, but the figure on that site doesn't ring true for my set of wheels.

TTT good find
assorting by XXX would make things much easier but this is indeed an awesome find either way and very useful when purchasing wheels.

If any of you ever find wheel data that is incorrect on that website feel free to add it to the "Discussion" of the article or add it here and I'll do my best to track down the correct figures. I acquired most of the data from wheelweights.net but it was not really user friendly or easily accessible to I took care of that by making it into a wiki, so anyone can contribute to help keep it up to date and accurate .

I also want to start including pictures of wheels on there as well however I'm not sure what would be the best way to integrate them there, if I were to include them int he table then it would make it extremely difficult to browse, but if I made them into links nobody would want to click on all of them if they're just browsing for looks, or would they? I guess it's worth a try.

You probably should have just tacked onto this thread...

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...omparison.html

It's got the link to the picture-and-weight thread as well as the "standard" Wheelweights.net

I just look at the MECHDB site and realized that they stole the data from Wheelweights.net. Same names, same columns, same missing weights, etc. At least on WW.net you can sort by name or size.

My intent was not to "steal" the data. What I wanted to do was create a more user friendly way of presenting the data, and allow for better editing so it can be kept more up to date. A lot of people who used to use wheelweights.net complemented me on how much cleaner the new wiki form is.

I figured people usually have a wheel size set in mind before shopping for the lightest wheel so that is why I sorted it by size. If you people would like I can probably figure out a way to make them sortable.

DavesZ#3, thanks for raising that concern because I looked into it a little more and turns out it is possible to sort tables in a wiki. So hence now all of the wheel tables are sortable by anything you want .

It certainly looks cleaner. I get a headache reading the multicolored lines at WW. Fundamentally, you're wrong in using their data unless you have permission or provide references to the source, acknowledgement, etc.

I plan to modify it heavily as soon as I get a little more time to go through a lot of wheel weights that are not included in that database. And I'm going to add picture articles for every wheel too.
