Rim question
will a rim that is (5x114.3/e44/73) fit on my 03 350z touring? i know they have the right lug pattern but will that offset fit?
these are the rims: http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5872

Thanks for the quick reply. I was just curious because I was going to order the 18x9.5 but I have 225 front and 245 rear tires and the 225's would be too small. I was trying to prevent from spending money on new tires when these tires aren't even a month old. Would spacers enable this offset to work?

^^Me and almost everyone of my friends run spacers, some for a long time. I dont think dave recommends it because he is a track addict. For everyday driver use we've never had any problems.
http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=5774 same site , you just have to look under a 350z instead of an STi

I know they make these for the 350z. If you would be so kind as to read my second post, I stated I was going to originally purchase the 18x9.5, but had front tires that were 225 in width and are too small. I was asking to see if the 18x8.5 grids would work, that way I do not have to purchase new tires. Thank you.
Just stretch the 225s on there if it matters that much to you. They will fit (Or just sell them like terrasmak said).
It is retarded to buy wheels based on tires you have. Thats like buying a new pair of shoes that are 2 sizes too small for you, but you bought them because you could re-use some laces you just bought.

Just do it right the first time. I wouldnt base my decision on a couple of used tires that you feel you have to match them up with. Do it right so you wont have to do it twice in the future.
Buy a rim in the lower to mid 20 size offset and put some 245 front and 275-285 rears

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I agree thats why I'm wanting rotas in the first place. Not only do I think they look good, but they aren't nearly as pricy as most wheels.
