Has anyone had problem with cracked stock 18in 35th Anniversity edition rims, that cracked for no reason? If so did Nissan cover them?

I don't think they crack for no reason. Although there are chances of manufacturer defects but most of the times, it must have been something that developed over time then which lead to failure.

There are couple people here on the forums reporting OEM wheels cracking and they were the 18" touring wheels made in THAILAND IIRC.

Contact NISSAN USA HQ and see what they can do.

 

 

You reviewed the service bulletins applicable to your model year correct?

 

Other users have cracked the same rims, stockers are number 2 overall on the cracked complaint post here.

 

are they chrome plated?

 

ppl on the forum who powder coated their wheels (the ones OP is on about) got cracked.

search the forum, u'll find couple of em.
