Default Request - Wheel, Tire, Spacer, Camber & Suspension Help

looking to get my first set of wheels for the Z
want an aggressive look

Wheel I have 99.9% decided on is available in the following specs
Fronts 19" x 9" +25 offset
Rears 19" x 10" +15 offset

First trying to figure what depth of a lip those would have

I don't really know much about offset but from what I have researched, my understanding is that I am looking at

Fronts 19" x 9" +25 offset = 3.5" Lip approx.
Rears 19" x 10" +15 offset = 4.5" Lip approx.
Is that correct?

Also would this require much or any
fender mods
camber adjustments
or spacers
to get a flush look on the Z with a 1" to 1.25" drop.

Lower = Tein Springs
Was just going to lower with tein springs - about 1" to 1.25" all around based on tein catalog.

Tires = Undecided
I would prefer a flushed look rather than stretched and need to research some more.

You would defenetly need spacers front and back if you want to get that flush look...in my opinion and to my taste I would at least go with 25mm front and 20mm on the rear...

Get 19x10 +15 front and rear and run a 10mm spacer in the rear for a good flush look.
Id run 245/35 Front and 255/35 Rear tire size. Slight stretch and should turn out pretty flush

unfortunately it seems like the lowest offset available for the wheel I want is what I have listed. guessing my calculation was wrong as I have been told it may be only 2" lip front and maybe 3" on rears.
It is the Advan RS-D matte black in the marketplace vendor section.
Really like that wheel but want a nice deep lip as well.

Might have to go for Work T1S if it doesn't seem like the lip will be as I would like.

anyone have any formula to determine the lip depth in inches that I would be looking at with
Fronts: 19x9.0 +25 offset
Rears: 19x10.0 +15 offset

link to the wheel I am debating:

thanks does help me a lot - i think
i would have calculated a 4.5" lip rear and 4" lip front - 1/2" off but didn't take into account the width of the spoke which would be about 1/2" I guess on your wheel. balancing the measurements you gave.
Forgot the offset is from center to mount point/back of spokes.
Thanks again.

have you seen this?

at 19x10 you will have a 65mm lip, or 2.6 inches.
the biggest lip for the rs-d is 77m or 3 inches and that requires a 20" wheel.

Most quality companies such as advans has charts like this one for every one of their wheels. Offset does not equal lip size! The company does.

Brojangles,

sorry to dissapoint but Tein springs will not get you a 1-1.25 drop...

In regards to other questions, you have left open way too many variables and would take paragraphs to help you out...

In conclusion, do ALOT more research.

Might go another route to get the desired look I want.
I take it you or someone you know tried the tein springs and didn't turn out as much of a drop as expected?
Thanks for the insight.

No problem friend!
Also.. on the springs situation, if you dont want coilovers, have you seen the rear bump stop mod?

https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...mount-mod.html

Helps drop the rear end since most springs dont give much of a drop in the back.

Yes...i have Tein S-Techs.

.6 front progressive, .7 rear linear.

Tein states springs will not sag more than 5mm.

decided against tein springs. not the as much lowering as I would want.

anyone have info on a full kit that gives about a 1.25 - 1.50 drop without a overly stiff ride and wont be shot to $#!T in no time.
Some people have emailed that "stance" (never heard of it) has a good ride but problems occur early on.
Anyone else with input on same or different brand/options.

FYI: Roads here are not great so ride comfort is important.

sup,

I really think you need to work one at a time......or research more....to me it honestly sounds like you need coilovers - so you can have full adjustability to get to the height and comfort level you want.......

no spring set up is gonna do that for you to where you will be completely pleased..

as for what Z04 was saying....in regards to spacers - start learning here:
https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...er-thread.html

Also research:

Fender rolling

SPC rear toe bolt

Rear camber arm

thanks to all that have shared/given their input, experience and advice
update on what is decided and purchased thus far.

- purchased Wald replica lip kit (front, sides & rear) to be painted ibis white to match the car

- decided to try the tein springs to see how it looks with the lip kit, if I'm not liking it I will go with coilover set

- purchased a set of Advan RS-D matte black 19x9 +25 (f) & 19x10 +15 (r)

- thinking of going with 225 tire on fronts and 255 on rears - not sure how it would look but want a little of a stretch look. widest wheels offered at the time so i'll try with what I have.

- will decide on spacers if needed when i test fit wheel & tires on the car

will keep posted as things progress.
