Picked up set of 4 Nismo LMGT4 for 1840!!
I was at a Nissan dealer in East BUFUU Kentucky and they dont sell many performance parts but had a set of 18 X 8.5 and 18 X 9.5 Nismo LMGT4 Silvers in stock and were DESPERATE to get rid of them...nonetheless, I was able to snag them for 1840 (without tires). On top of that, they gave me $1000 in trade for the stock 17" wheels and tires (only had 600 miles on them, but seemed like a VERY good trade amount). THESE ARE BRAND NEW!! Now I like these wheels but there are others I would rather have. Oh well!!! What is the best price you guys/gals have seen on SO3's or a similar performance tire. I am looking for a tire that will offer good performance and long life (if that is possible!). I hope I received a good deal (I think I did). I may sell these wheels in order to get something I may like more.....so I will entertain offers on trades or purchase. I just couldnt pass this deal up, otherwise this would not have been my first choice....I am sorry I dont have pics yet but will have some tomorrow...or somebody can post a pic since many members have these wheels.

Dude
You got an awesome deal. These were (are) my first choice. Site Sponser, Performance Nissan wants $2K plus shipping. I just picked up a set for $1850. plus $60 shipping from a Dealer that was advertising on "E" Bay. Your deal with the $1K trade for the 17s is fantastic. What don't you like about the Nismos? They're very light, strong, and IMO look fantastic. Mine should be here on friday. I'm putting Dunlop SP9000s on them which I'm getting from Discount Tire. The 245/40s are $194 ea. and the 275/40s are $223 ea. These tire prices include mounting and balancing.

Unbelievable ****ing deal. I can't believe they gave you that trade-in value. You got the wheels for $840 basically?
I just bought a set of wheels in the same sizes and I'm going to run the Kumho Ecsta MXs in 245/40 and 275/40. They ran me $710 shipped from Tirerack.com

I found them on your listed site. When I went to try to buy them, I got an unrelated page. But, that's not the point, I paid $1,850 for them also. But, you don't understand, the great deal, was his trade-In value for the 17s - That made it awesome.

I am still completely shocked that the parts manager offered me trade on the stock 17's....considering I could probably turn around and trade for those rims back with someone PLUS cash. By the way, I like the wheels and without a doubt they are light, but I wish they had more of a lip. Anyhow, it looks like I will keep them!

As for tires, if you want a good street tire, the S03s are it. They're a bit heavier than the Toyo T1S', but have a better construction (from what I've read). I am having my S03s installed on Saturday with a 245/40R18F and 255/40R18R for ~$950 mounted at a place called Radial Tire in MD. I imagine that you could find a place that would match that price...

Since you're in Cincy go to Princenton Tire (on 747 down the street from Tri-County mall) if you want to get great prices on tires. They're the only people in town that will ever touch a wheel of mine.
Due to a delivery problem and some other stuff (like Bill & Josh have always given me a great hookup), Bill & Josh got me a great deal (too good to pass up) on some Falkens (best street tire they sell in 19s, can't remember number). I'd still rather have Toyo T1-S tires but these falkens are as good or better then S03s in dry handling and only slightly less in wet.
Anyway, if you want to look local, got to Princeton Tire .
