Black TPMS Valvestem

Okay, this probably seems like a stupid question, but I didn't really see this addressed in any of the TPMS threads.
Since the TPMS sensor and the valvestems are one unit, you're pretty much stuck with that valvestem. What about the guys running black wheels, just suck it up and get used to the silver valvestem eyesore? Or is there some way to cost effectively paint/powdercoat the valvestems and actually have them last?

If you have never taken a tpms sensor off, the silver part unscrews and can be painted/spray painted quite easily, from there you can probably go to any autozone and get metal black valve stems.
