Stretching tires isn't something that i heard of so obviously i dun know if diameter stretches or not
lets say u get 225/45/19 where the original size should b 245/45/19.
Wouldn't the track become lil narrow because the width of the tires became narrower?

not the stretching that is commonly done (width)
although it would be stretching the tire 18" tire on 19" wheel - no tire expert but dont think it would work. never heard of someone doing it either.
If it does work and tire blows out and damages your 19s then all the "savings" is lost.
initially got me thinking of fat guy in a little coat - didn't turn out too well
imagine the same outcome can be applied in this instance.

Most Retarded Fad EVER
It's a shame that some have moved from s10 pickup trucks to 350'z and brought this dumb **** with them. This fad can't die fast enough. Anyone that finds anything appealing about running a tire too small.....on a rim too large......while running -290834820934820934 degrees camber.........so it's "hellaflush" should be hit with a swift roundhouse kick to the ***** (or falcon punch for the ladies ).
That is all.
That is all.

PLEASE READ: Stretched tires are HORRIBLE. They don't look good, and should only be done for a complete show car. I'm realizing how much I would hate to drive a flush car now.
My Mercedes has wheels that are close to flush, and the tires are stretched a bit to fit without rubbbing TOOO much (although I still do rub on hard turns).
The number one reason it sucks to run stretched tires is because you WILL damage your rims. Any time you take a very hard turn, or hit a pothole at an odd angle, your rim will hit the ground. I'm running 235/30/18's on a 18x8.5 rim on my Mercedes, it's irritating as ****. I'm going to run 245/35/18 next time around.
Oh... and don't even think about hitting a pothole when it's stretched, and you're in the middle of a turn like say a "freeway on/offramp" ... I hear my AMG wheels rolling on the rims frequently. They're slowly getting more curbrash/roadrashed because of it.
On the Z? F'k now, I would never buy any tire smaller than I could fit on the wheel. I want as big and beefy a tire as can be had!

honestly op, you should just get your alignment fixed, unless you have it set up so for fitment reasons, in which case you shouldn't complain about the cost of tires since it comes with the territory.
personally though, i love stretched tires. they make sexy fitment. and they aren't super "unsafe" as long as you have common sense an know what is a reasonable stretch is and what isn't. hell, i though 215/35 on an 18x9.5 was pushing it, but it held up just fine when drifting and pushing the car as hard as i could. it just seems that there are more... umm... sissies when it comes to stretch/fitment issues in the z world because they are after all "$30000 sports cars"

^that's (285 on a 13" wheel or similar levels of stretch) is idiotic and frankly dumb if any liability is not placed on the owner and the company that will do that for you.
I don't care if you subjectively like how it looks. When you are rolling along at 65mph on a curve or trying to impress your friends with a lane change at speed and that tire unseats and you wreck...great. I'll be driving by laughing my *** off at your stupidity.
But when that leads you wreck and takes out someone innocent along with you...that's when this tire stretching thing has gone too far.
edit: Also, thread of the year this one is shaping up to be.
