Spacers needed? Wheel & tires ordered
Already asked about spacers but have more details than I did previously.
Details of what I have:
05' Gran Touring Z w/ brembos japanese spec/left hand drive.
Purchased set of:
Advan RS-D
19x9 +25 offset fronts
19x10 +15 offset rears
Tires - brand undecided - but more than likely going to get following size
225/35/19 fronts
245/35/19 rears
(want slightly stretched look - which this might not even be stretched)
Car will be lowered as well. Tein springs or coilovers if and when I want to get lower.
Anyone use similar setup with spacers or know how I could calculate what mm spacers to get - to flush with fenders?
So far 1 person recommended to get 20mm fronts & 25mm rears. Anythoughts?
I know it would be best to test fit wheels & tires and then measure but
I'm overseas - Cayman Islands
and would rather order and get everything one shot and not have to test fit/ order/ wait another month and then install.

Are you currently lowered at all? Without the negative camber from lowering the car your wheels and tires will be sticking out the fenders...not to mention a ridiculous looking gap.
I'm not a stretched tire guy but I already know it will not look good.

Wheels
Tires
Springs or Coilovers - to lower
all to be installed in one sitting
would like to do spacers at same time - if they are required to get flush. If not required then I am good. Just was told I would need spacers.
thanks - criticism appreciated
I am not even sure if this setup will stretch at all.
Basing it off of a silvia I came across on another site that had the same widths (9" fronts and 10" rears) but the wheels are 18"s - assume if I keep everything else the same I would probably end up with the same look or stretch but its minor.
everyones got a different input on how much mm spacers to get - guess depending on their preferences.

thanks - got any pics with the setup you have?

Just look at my profile pic, but now my setup is 10mm more in the rear and 5mm more up front. I would also suggest 225/40 front and 245/40 rear, that would be the proper tire height for your car. You will have less gap with those tires and the rubber will fill the wheel well arhes better.
thanks for your strong minded input though
btw your car looks great - nothing bad to say on the way you have chosen to do things

dude. 245+275/35/19... Don't deviate here. You don't want them
much smaller. brand new wheels and stretchedddddddddddddd out
tires will make you cry pretty quickly unless you only drive on perfect*
roads.
don't install your new wheels before you get springs or coils as they
will look like complete and total *** (on your stock suspension).
go ahead and roll your rear fender, you can wait on the front.
install your setup once you're lowered, then decide on spacers.
i think you can avoid installing them for a while - oh and btw,
you'll need to get 20 new lugs for them too.
glgl.
good wheel choice, just don't **** up the execution.

thanks for all of that
set of lugs has been purchased to go with the wheels
also forgot to mention that I am going to roll the fenders
springs are in stock so I am going to do a test fit with the springs at the shop and decide if I want to do the coilovers instead - mainly due to the lip kit I will be installing - reason for my concern with going too low.
I agree it would be best to test fit and measure for the spacers I would need.
Really wanted to get everything one shot as the wait is killing me.
and funny enough - I'm as patient as they come.
i can handle the stock brembos for now but will be on to bbk after this is all set in place.

245 & 275 would be too fat?
No?
Not too sure if i would like how it looks but I will look into it.
I will admit the roads here aren't the best but they aren't horrible so I will take the proper fitment/fat tire or whatever you would call it advice into consideration.

20mm drop on BC coilovers. Handles OK on the street, i have a stupid 245 275 stagger right now(255/275 is much better but 275/275 is next). On the track it handles much better. The ride is very managable for a DD.
Spacers are not "needed" it's simply preference. I would consider your offset correct and wouldn't suggest spacers.
You can always get them later, they are not being discontinued and thus no need to rush.
