BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT, feedback request
I have been considering the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT as my next tire. Any feedback from forum members? The only complaint I have heard is noise.
I have only ever put the OEM spec tires on, and I am ready to move on.
How is the noise relative to the Z's cabin?
I am planning on getting stock sizes for front and rear.

I would have to say if your gonna run stock size tires get a Set of Toyo T1R's or Proxy 4's... there are a lil cheaper then the BFGoodrich and are offer same level of grip and performance is that is what your after. I have a set of BFgoodrich on m stock rims and and a set of Toyo T1R's on my misters SP1's.
As for the noise... I hear a slight wine down noise when coming to a stop with the BFgoorich tires.
Nothing with the Toyo's... hope this helps

I made the mistake of searching for "BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT" with no luck. I guess simpler was the solution. Thanks for directing me to a better search term, even if you didn't mean to be helpful.

CMS,
I am on my second set of KDW2 NT's (03 w/50,100 on OD), IMHO great tire, noise is exceptable, (i don't notice it over the music). Runs good in cold weather (don't drive it in snow), hold good on wet pavement, very sticking on VA summer roads. Sidewalls hold up on corner turns and twisties. Hope this helps.

great tire! noisey tire after a while but not the worst i ever had.. Hook pretty damn good.. Had them on a two different cars and run well.. Like AXEL said sidewalls are pretty descent and hold help well around hard cornering..

Expensive tires, but worth the price.

In my case I did not find the tire noise too annoying, afterall with the EVOTT(s) it doesn't make much of a difference. Moreover, as long as the road noise does not have that constant annoying drone. I can live with it.

how about this.. seems like I post this every year or so since 05, my first set of kdw2s (now on my 3rd in 19")
vid, 17" stock RSA vs 18" kdw in stock sizes
http://www.timware.org/vid/kdw.wmv
They are loud... and sticky as hell.. yet have gotten me home in light snow (not recommended).
This a pretty steep hill.. it's cold, far below the 55F limit for UHP tires.
I keep telling myself I will get a quieter tire next time.. but I will probably get these again. They stay planted in deep water, which is probably one of my favorite qualities in a tire.
