need some wheel advice from fellow Z owners
So i'm tired of seeing my car with these ugly wheels on them, and shopping around trying to see if i can find a decent looking wheel for a good price. Below is my car (it has a painted black roof now) and the wheel in question. I've been going back and forth whether this wheel would look good with the right tire and wheel and to be quite honest i have other priorities in life then wheels, i'm getting married, trying to for a house so i'm not trying to spend more then 800 - 1000 on wheels
the Z is dropped about 1.5 in. and after some calling i can get these in 19x9.5 all around, what u guys think of running 9.5's all around? and do you think these wheels would look good on my Z

I would stay away from those wheels. It is one of those "you get what you pay for things". ADR and Stern are the same company. They are heavy, cheap, and probably don't come in great offsets as well. You are better of saving your money for a while longer and picking up some nice 19 or even 18 inch wheels in a proper offset. Also look at weight of wheels as well. You can search the Marketplace and find some high quality used wheels and tires for 2000 or less. the most important things are proper size, offset, weight and quality of wheel.
PS: 20x8.5 is not wide enough for a Z and will look no better then the wheels that are on there now.

I imagine that Stern wheels in the "proper" offset and width in a 19" diameter will be heavier than the stock configuration. I would personally look around the classifieds and find something used but higher quality. I think you would be happier in the end.
IMO 20's will give you a very harsh ride if due to the thin sidewalls required to maintaing the proper tire OD. Stick with 19's or smaller. 18's will still look great and be better for your wallet.

if you don't want it to look rice, stay away from those wheels.
Work Emotion series or Enkei RPF1, Nismo LMGT4 etc are some good QUAILTY wheels for a good price.
if you are not looking to spend more than 1g, try Rota.

I agree with the above comments. Private classifieds is the way to go. And if you're looking to only spend that much on brand new wheels, I personally don't think they will look much better than what you have on there now. Just save up your money and wait a little longer. You can then purchase some wheels that will be within specs and will look a lot better. It will be worth the wait.

with 18's, tires would be more budget friendly as well.
option might be to find a decent wheel with decent price from a vendor that will put you on payment plan and knock it off bit by bit till the deal is done.

honestly.. just save like 200 more.. ive seen work emotions go for around 1200 before.. dont go cheap on wheels.. you will soon regret it and even worse.. they have no resale value.
I think Rota is your best bet. I don't believe in spending insane money on wheels but I thought the Enkei RPF1's were the best deal on the market. Unfortunately, they are also a pain in the butt to get (normally have long waits).

Not to say I endorse them bbut XXR's new 2010 line don't look bad on the internet...

That's the first time I've ever seen a wheel sitting on concrete like that. It makes me cringe.
There are plenty of options in your range especially if you can get your wheels sold for $300 to $400
Enkei, Konig and even Work all have wheels in the marketplace that you can pickup within your price range.
